Every year at the beginning of autumn, Gurten becomes a colorful family paradise! The Autumn Festival delights visitors with a variety of child-friendly attractions and activities. In the Gurten garden, little crafters can create imaginative objects and take them home with them. Exciting games and competitions invite visitors to join in on the lawn, while our partners' stands offer crafts, puzzles, games, and snacks.
A special highlight is the stage, where fascinating performances, Je-Ka-Mi and other surprises will make children's eyes light up. Every year there are new attractions to discover. Experience an unforgettable day full of games, fun and autumn joy on the Gurten!

The history of the Je-Ka-Mi stage
A good 70 years ago, Ferdinand Bärtschi performed for the first time with an entertainment program for children at the inauguration of the new mountain station. For forty years, he repeated his performance with the accordion and built a small wooden children's stage on the Gurten meadow. Every year during the fall holidays, the children presented their favorite hits, recited poems, or told jokes in front of a large audience. Everyone can join in – that was the motto back then and it still is today. Ferdinand's offer enjoyed great popularity, and the Gurten – Park im Grünen Foundation decided to revive this children's stage in 2016.
